Hello, I'm Karen
With a background in Social Work and Education, I decided to combine my experience of working with children and their families, with my love of nature.

Since qualifying as a Forest School Practitioner, I have witnessed the positive impact that outdoor and nature-based learning can have on us all, especially those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. As a result, I completed an 'Intensive Wellbeing Support in the Outdoors' qualification to enhance my practice with those who might find it difficult to access more traditional therapy or interventions. I have also completed training in Forest School Yoga.

I hold my Forest School sessions in Foxfire Wood, ancient woodland in the low weald of West Sussex. It has a diverse range of trees and different wildlife including woodpeckers, deer and badgers.
